As I have documented here on the blog, I have spent a lovely weekend in Hamburg with Jessi to relax after my recent graduation. If you've missed that, check out how we spent Day 1, Day 2 and Day 3.
On Sunday we went to a flea market and I took a couple of pictures of the treasures and the people there. As you can see the weather was just perfect for a stroll around the market:
There were lots of interesting people selling lots and lots of treasures. Of course there were the twenty-something-girls selling half of their clothes to make room in their closets for even more clothes. But there was also a good amount of quirky people. It was hard to inconspicuously take pictures of them instead of their stuff but I managed to sneakily take this one:
Those chandeliers looked beautiful in the sun as they were twinkling and sparkling all over the place:What gave us the creeps were a couple of dolls. Why would anyone want to buy those? Exhibit A:
Some people managed to arrange their stuff remarkably like this old lady. While she had fabulous antiques on display she kept herself busy on her ipad. That was one interesting contrast.
While we have not the slightest idea what these two guys were supposed to be doing there, they were certainly worth a laugh - and a picture.
Exhibit B of the creepy doll collection:
And finally, one of our treasures was this sweet children's book called Possum Magic:
This lovely flea market will take place again on August 4th, 2013 and September 29th, 2013 in Hamburg, Immenhof (near Mundsburg Station). So if you're around be sure to check it out.

Absolut gruselig waren so einige Puppen. Wer möchte sowas denn kaufen? Beweisstück A:
Was diese beiden Herren darstellen sollten, blieb uns unklar.
